Milwaukee Bucks’ Reading Challenge
(Grades 3-10)
January 2-February 25
Read a minimum of 500 pages to qualify for a free ticket to a Bucks basketball game or read 750 pages to qualify for a special drawing. Collect bookmarks of Bucks players each week!
Program details and reading folders will be available at the Service Desk in the library beginning January 2.

Disney on Ice Reading Program
(Preschool through Grade 5)

Kids who read 5 books or more will receive a free ticket voucher for Disney on Ice,
Yes, we have reading sheets for Disney on Ice after all!
Start reading now through February 29 to earn a ticket to the show on March 1st.

Kids Choice - Currently underway and wraps up in early February for grades 4-6. Read at least 5 titles from the Kids' Choice book list and earn the chance to vote for your favorite. The winning book will be announced on February 14. Book list is available at the Elm Grove Library, online at www.wcfls.lib.wi.us/kidschoice, or at participating schools (Tonawanda Elementary, St. Mary's Visitation, Elm Grove Lutheran, and Pilgrim Park Middle School).

National Library Week

Celebrate the contributions of libraries to American culture! Stop in all week for special bookmarks, displays and Culvers' coloring contest entries.

Plans are underway to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic on Thursday, April 12, during national Library Week. More information will be available at the library or on this website in March.

Teen Volunteer Opportunities for ages 13-18
are available in January through April.
Shelf reading- time commitment is flexible, but a minimum of 6 weeks is recommended. Training is provided before you start, however there will be no training in May.
Program Assistant-help run special programs for kids or participate in the Memorial Day Parade in May.
Information sheets/applications will be available at the Information Desk in the library in December.
