The approved 2019 budget includes a specific dollar tax levy for the Village to meet its operating and capital needs for the upcoming year. In 2018 the total levy was $7,013,090 an increase of 2.23% or $153,310 from 2017 plus the TIF-allocated levy of $208,630 for a total of $7,221,720. The Village levy includes $1,320,000 for capital charges to MMSD (Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District).
